i see me
when i look into your eyes
i see me
staring back so mystified
i see me there
but i don't dare speak
for fear i might dissipate
the silence locks me into place
i see me, but
i hesitate
for fear that i might awaken
too soon...
i see me
i see me sparkling
in the light
admist your iris's so bright
i see me swaying to the music
of your night
i see me there
and the reflection is so true
richly toned, deeply hued
my image is counting upon you
to keep it there
i see me in you
