Love rolls in,
on the waves
of the vast 
blue ocean.
As it carries
my emotions,
further and 
further
out of reach.
Then,
when i'm last
prepared,
they splinter
against the
jagged rocks,
shattering 
heart,
and hope,
as the two
dissolve,
in pools
of tears...
