May I sit here for a while?
In this quiet corner,
rest for a bit in your company
before I leave on my way?
Sad? No not really
I'm not feeling
much of anything
worthy of note these days.
Did I loose some one close
maybe a lover gone astray
Yes to both sorta kinda
in a twisted rotten way
But you seem a nice and decent folk
with troubles your own I'm sure
I do thank you for this bit of time though
its long past time I was on my way
