Laughed as she walked around it
Joked as i pumped my gore
Then she left
to reassume
a relationship
with a brutal man
For i loved but could not be cruel
not even for her
She may have played me for a fool
See even now i can not admit to it
For i keep hoping even as its over

For i would have it so
that for a time i did
