Letting Go
Once my hand reached out to you
Once I felt you feel so blue
When in time I let you in
Once in time I let you sin
For my sin I'll enter in
Enter in the gates of sin
Once in life I learned to slow
For in that way you let me go
In some time I'll bring that back
But for now I'm in a sack
When for once I'll learn my deed
When I've dug that fearful seed
Why in time and only then
Will you be my friend again
Letting go is hard to do
In my way I beg of you
You are the best I know well
Do not go deep and learn to tell
Once in love and now defeat
What is there to go and meet
I say to you now and always
I'll let you go in these days
But please come back when you are true
For what would I do without you?
