Arrested sorta, kinda, almost,
Said I was non suspicious
in a suspicious neighborhood.
3 o'clock in the morning
with a white turtleneck sweater
white pants, white person.
Said if I had made jus two blocks more
I would have been into
a lot of trouble with the tuffs
of this hood, damn so close.
So a courtesy ride was given.
loaded into the car
fresh blood on seats
not yet set enough to stain.
Jokes back and forth
about finding me out so late.
Said I jus left a girlfriends,
didn't explain she had really left me.
They took this in stride.
Dropped me off out front
of this place I reside.
Well too late to begin again this eve.
Wonder what tomorrow will bring.
Wonder if I can find what im looking for.
Wonder if I really care.
