Through the same dark woods again
Beginning to feel like red riding hood
This time Steppenwolf on the radio
About a carpet ride and a little girl
Suddenly in the headlights
Blazing eyes, short ears, bushy tail
A red fox, in Nashville woods
Caught in the headlights scared,
Momentarily frozen looking right at me
Face to face two scared foxes and one wolf
Howling on the radio
Zigging left and she zags right
Running on into the night
Two scared foxes
Escape again
