It's the second time I've called

she was happy to hear from me
but she was busy
Homework
told me to call back later

Three days ago I wouldn't have cared
I hadn't seen that gorgeous smile so many times

She's sleeping now..
so says her roommate
and I have no reason to disbelieve
but I have no reason to believe
that I'll ever see her again
