Poem Left Undone

Poem Left Undone

A poem left undone
Its not old nor new
Few lines scattered
A date not yet due

Much like the fruit
Removal of peeling
Adding to the taste
Flavour and feeling

Colours and shape
Adding to quantity
It begins its growth
Its much like a tree

The young saplings
Or fruit on the vine
As a poem undone
All grow given time

Outline then to text
All sections in part
Spreading as a tree
Branches of a heart

In adding of verses
Its never a deletion
Its a poem growing
Waiting completion
