Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time, I had a love
His love was tender and sweet
He was truly sent from up above
To love and encourage me
Once upon a time, I was naive
I couldn't see what was there
So I looked for better things
And left my love in despair
Once upon a time, I saw his pain
But I didn't know what to say
So I left and felt ashamed
On that very heartbreaking day
Once upon a time, we got so mad
And couldn't think what to do
So whenever we felt real bad
You blamed me, and I blamed you
Once upon a time, we both grew up
And realised what was there
We both could see a stroke of luck
So our friendships we did share
Happily ever after, we share our lives
And learn what true friendship is
I know you'll be there forever in time
And I'll be there through thick and thin
