There is a world within her face
a thousand in her eyes.
She bears the burdens of her life
with a full and joyfull laugh.
She touches others with her life
watch the magic as they are drawn to her.
The measure of her life is seen
in the faces of those who love her.
In this, she is a wealthy woman
rich with the love others have for her.
In her heart, she suffers other stings
but you will never see them.
She is a being of spirit and magic
of silk and steel, tears and renewal.
She is stronger than anyone around her
though she may not see it.
I do. I can stand with a pure and honest heart
and admire. She is life. She is love. She is joy.
And better than this, finer by far
She is a kindred soul, another light in darkness.
I have the honor of her laugh, her smile, her joy.
She is my friend.
