How Could This Happen?

Fun, laughter, love,
Trust broken, hate within,
Death around us, Violence is king,

Hating eachother gets us nothing,
We can't trust,
We can't love,

Where's the fun?
Where's the laughter?
What happened to the love?

Falling from the sky,
Our hopes are gone,
No one to trust,

Missing ourselves,
Hiding the truth,
Loving another,

Going to see her,
She's not there,
Trust was broken,

Hate stirs within,
Love her you must,
Trust her you can't,

What are we doing?
Hate, death, and violence,
They comsume our world.
