why am i always in the dark?

Glowing radiently
you fill the sky with hope and light.
somehow i'm shaded.
hidden from your beams of life
i'm so cold.
i need your warmth
why can't you shine on me?
Why do i need you so bad
i feel like i'll die without you
maybe i will
i can't be here alone
i can't see
i'm blinded by the darkness
why is it dark
why am i always in the dark?
why don't i step into you
into what you have and give?
before it's gone to some other soul
i can't wait
but your so gentile
what if your light fades before i have a chance to tell you how i need you
