To Darin

Give me the sun to bring warmth to my soul
Bringing light to my heart guiding me 'til I'm whole.

Give me the stars which fill the dark night
Endless remnants of hope from their twinkling light.

Give me the earth with all of its gifts
Of life and fresh air which my spirit it lifts.

Give me the sky which encompasses all
And seems to protect me when life takes a fall.

But if I choose only one joy from above,
Then take all these away and please, give me my Love.
