the Versace model with the Brooklyn accent
    says he wants a Texan
       Southern Belle (???!!!@###)
   ...feeling feisty and dangerous
  I choose not to correct him
 and tell him
 that Texan women
  are a class apart
      a whole other breed entirely
 we don't have Daisy Duke accents
   and our ancestors didn't own slaves
 I play dumb, instead
    and with a come hither smile
    I order a Mimosa
   in a maple syrup drawl
