best friend

Many of us fall
But few can stand up on their own
Trying to look for someone
They can call friend.

Many are called to this mission
But few say, "Yes you can count on me!"
"I am busy", others would quip.
They cannot be counted as friends.

Many people would say
"I'll help you push through",
But only few would actually
   Be true to you.

I am lucky to have you
When I was alone and sad
Thank you very much
For being my best friend.
