Thinking of You

When I wake up at dawn and rise from my bed,
Your pretty face is the first in my head.

On this brisk morning, when my car wouldn't start,
Thinking of you was what warmed up my heart.

When I was at school, struggling with my test,
I was really thinking that you're better than the rest.

When I was sitting at lunch, and I just couldn't eat,
You made me feel funny, and your image was sweet.

When I was at work, staring into space,
I was thinking of you-all full of grace.

Being with you is an ideal treat.
Only you make my heart skip a beat.

Just know that wherever I am, I will never be blue,
As long as you know I will be thinking of you.
