Playing Hooky
Have you ever thought of just playing hooky from work one day, go someplace you never have been before and just explore and take in what ever is going on at that moment.
Maybe it would be along the ocean of some far off town or a busy metropolis. How about a scenic view atop of mountain ridge, with the foggy mist slowly taking its path, up the green forest, leaving a brisk coolness in your breath. To admire and shop among quaint little shops, to see the towns people go about their daily jobs and routines. Stopping at a local eatery for a tasty lunch, followed by a long stroll and to be relieve comforted by a short nap a local inn or B&B. To awaken just as the day ends. To look out and see the sun set, over the ridge, claiming it rays all over the fertile valley. Napping allowed you be refresh and able to realize the cleansing of your mind. As the sun sets, an urge of hunger comes over you.
You set out in search of unique yet wholesome restaurant. You are alone in this town; however, the gentleman at the front desk is still on duty. You were somewhat attracted to him when you first saw him earlier in the day,
but now that the hectic pace of the day have worn off, you see a difference in this man that had hidden itself from you earlier. You introduce yourself and ask for any suggestions of quiet, yet entertaining and provocative place to dine, He responds in a very eloquent matter, decisive and direct as to each establishment, for it appears he is familiar with each establishment, since he it is his job. But he stately and quietly says that he does not get the opportunity to eat as he once did. You thank him, and decide that you would change your clothes, which have been soiled and tainted by the day’s perspiration. You take quick, yet measurable shower; soaping every reachable area. You are slightly aroused by the Shower spraying across your naked breasts and your open thighs. When something overcomes you very suddenly. The gentleman who just talk too seems very nice and you thought after all that it
might be of some interest to him if he were invited to have dinner with you.
Although you are bewilder on how to really deliver such an invitation. You come to a very abrupt yet
Decisive conclusion. What the heck! I’ll just call down to the front desk. So you dash
out of the shower, very cleansed, grabbing your robe, to cover your white nude cleansed body. You, as you towel dry your hair quickly dial the phone, it is rings twice and a female voice answers, "front desk " you are
surprised and ready to hang up, when you hear the voice say, "can I help you". You stuttered, with words not coming out. You suddenly blurt out, do know where I can find a good place to dine, the voice responds “No I do not, however I will put someone on the line whose does know”. Embarrassed and dripping wet, you are about to
hang up, when strangely; you hear a voice, the voice that is familiar. Oh! You reply, this is_ _ _ in room #314. If you may recall I ask you for some dining suggestions, and I thought if you were not working or committed to
any other plans would like to dine with me at one these fine establishments? You swallow each word with a sense of a rush and shyness! The voice, on the phone, sounds somewhat reluctant at first; there is a slight pause and hesitation. He follows, there is a policy about engaging with our guests, however, let me check out some things and I will call you back in 5 minutes. You, reply " oh, if it creates a dilemma, please accept my apology, I really am alone in town and thought in would be nice to have some company at dinner" He, replies " no it is not a dilemma". You hang the phone down, you do it seem as though all the emotion in your body just got flush out. You feel as though you violated a rule. You decide what the heck; you'll get dressed and go with or without him and will just enjoy the night. Just as you are finishing, which is long past the 5 minutes, there is a knock at the door. You answer it, you stare directly out, and see nothing, as you lower your eyes you see a small little girl with a bouquet of fresh picked flowers and a folded note, She politely states, that, “I am suppose to give these to you”. You warmly say ”thank you” and take the note and flowers, the girl runs down the hallway. You slowly close the door you are slightly of overwhelmed and flatter. You read the note, its says in a very poetic presentation, “ I will wait for you outside the inn at 7:30”. It is now 7:20, now you are anxious, and even more somewhat perplex, what should I wear? Should I spray on a fragrance? What scent? You leave you room, very insecure of your presence and appearance. As you come down the stairs, you are saying, its only dinner, only 90 minutes, why all the fuss, you quiz yourself. As you exit you see your stranger who now appears as a new found friend. After a simple meal, sipping some tea, there was no discussions, just silence, eyes gazing at one another, the only movement was the breeze flowing against the smiles that each one afforded to another.
The night begins...
