Lover's Prayer

I do believe the Lord above,
Created you for me to love.
He picked you out from all the rest,
Because he knew I'd love you the best.

I once had a heart,
And it was true,
But now it's gone from me to you.

So take care of ot now,
For I have done.
Because you have two,
And I have none.

I'll go to Heaven,
And if you aren't there,
I'll write your name on the golden stair.
And if you still aren't here by Judgement Day,
Then I'll know you have gone the other way.

So I'll give up my wings
And all of God's beautiful things,
To prove my love is true
I'll go to hell to be with you.
