Can't stop loving you

I've never stopped loveing you.
For to stop would be to die.
I haven't known what to do.
So I just pray to the God on High.

"Lord you know my heart,
 and how I long for him...
 Yet if it's Your will for us to part,
 then I'll stop loving Jim."

"But if at all there is a chance,
 please bring back my earthly love.
 For if you could I'd sing and dance,
 and give glory to you my Father above."

So now you know just what I pray, 
and what I ask of the Saviour.
I say this prayer every day,
and ask for your love, from my Father.
