My Midnight Shadows
I suddenly awaken from a blissful sleep. I am startled to
remember my midnight shadows in a verbatim rush from my
subconcious haze.My mind is filled with pictures of you.
I am able to recall only certain bits and pieces. That of
which are quite distinctive. These are your eyes, resembling
pools of flourescent light that seemed to magically draw me
closer to your figure. You are surrounded by halos and visions
of angels. You were only missing your wings. This almost
brought me to tears as I felt my cheeks grow hot on the cliff
edge of a blush. Your skin, oh, your skin. It had the beauty
and texture of a purely pink and milky softness. I tried to hold
myself back. I soon began to caress your silken hair. As I did this,
our surroundings were turned into a near absolute utopia. An Eden,
if you will. We were transported to a blanket of rose petals.
At this point, I knew that I must be dreaming, but I did not care.
Then, somthing terrible happened to my dream. It was one of those
when you fall uncontrollably onto your bed. I felt as if I was going
to die. But, I didn't. I just woke up in a cold sweat, which was
quite unsettling. I then immediately wrote it all down in my bed-
side journal. That would be one dream I would NEVER, ever forget!!
The End(thanks for reading)
