"I Wish I Was a Beer"

I Wish I was a beer
that you drank down cool and slow
and every night at 7
to my happy hour you would go.
You would hold me in your hand
and protect me from the others
as you sat and rabble roused
with your three handsome brothers.

When you order me at the bar
I am so amazed by what you are.
An angel, a vision, perfection at its best
Let's jump in your Forerunner and head out West.
The beer there is plentiful and I know you love that
If only you'll love me
long after I'm flat.
