Clockwork, Me (Part I)

like warm animals
machinery clicks
water logged ears
dry eyes in the morning
fingernail clippings
atomic bombs
dry, cracked skin
fledgling love
dying love
the zoom lens of a camera
a golden crown
a white skull
a tear drop
the Atlantic ocean
a boat lost in a chaotic storm
the Bermuda triangle
heaven and hell
parting ways
soft heart beats
beads of sweat
erect appendages
pillow sweet cotton candy
a broken mail box
an empty envelope
a bloody nose
bent, burnt spoons
small chalk-like lines
tightly rolled dollar bills
a cut
a scrape
a wound
a scab
a scar
a feeling
static on television
static in the brain
hair clippings
rusted metal
dull knife blades
bloody razors
five o'clock shadows
Grizzly Adams
bears and novels
clockwork orange
or clockwork me

it just all makes sense
