What I Learned Tonight

I though I knew everything
But this cowboy was wrong.
At least I’m smart enough to know
And admit

Love is not giving, ~ like all those damn sappy love songs say.
(And what love struck needy women think they wanna do)
Love is not taking; ~ like so many brain dead, dick led males think.
(Xactly what I USED to be)

Love is communion
Holy communion
Sacred trinity; heart~mind~soul

I cannot give to you
Until I am willing to receive of you in kind.
Nature abhors imbalance.
As do we humans.

Take my blood and drink it for we are one.
Take my body and eat it; it is yours
Give me your heart and I will stroke it; it is mine
Give me your brain and I will fuck it; it too is mine.
Lets suck the red marrow from each other's bones.

Worship Love
Take Communion
Its really all we have.
(Also all we need)
