suspended
couldn't we dance just a
little more
in the time suspended here?
the night is almost over
can't we just lie here
for a moment more
and pretend that time
isn't slipping away from us
that each second draws us
further apart
can't we just cross distances
transporting between here
and now
that before was a memory
and now is a future
reference and then will
never happen
if jonathon livingston seagull
had never come between we
wouldn't of found
these inbetweens
inbetween time
you and me
now i imagine you in a glow
that surrounds me
and i touch upon the emptiness
that comes when i can't reach
you and now the memory
so can't we dance
just a minute more
