You and I

          

           You and I

       It's so funny,
       You and I.
       Giving messages,
       As time flys by.

       Humor and slang,
       Songs that we sang,
       Poetry typed in line.

       You and I.
       Looking around.
       What have we found?
       A million stars in the sky.

       Each hoping to shine,
       wanting someone.
       To give each moment,
       A chance in time.
