Instances Of Greatness

and
in instances of greatness,
and coupled with the roller coaster lows,
or entwined with skyscraper highs...
the word-smith's write:

putting feelings into words, love or despair
even when they slow to cyclical phases,
"Though as for that the passing there"
thanking the Frost's through bits and phrases

yet the amazement never ceases to surprise
the poets with might through the sword
when wordplay brings tears to their veteran eyes
they feel the emotion being poured...

so the soldiers and poets, step forward in tune
walking in stride to commune with the bloom
whether, plant or animal, all alike and new
singing praise to love, blended or blue
