With us there is
no room for marginal errors
the margins are where we
might append second chances
are filled with spillover
ink from the pens of our lives
already filled to the brim
and yet if you turn it all
on the edges of our pent-up
frustrations at what we've
only brought on ourselves
there is no solace in the
knowledge that
I am here to hold you up
and you are there to keep me
from toppling over
It may never be enough
but it will always be
more than that's all there is
