Young Wings

I have to explain:
My friend's been tormented by the recent break-up with his girlfriend.
I stared at the "word" magnets on his fridge, and got inspired.
Here it is:


					fathoms of a friend

question		lion man is always chasing the feline woman
			run   surge   sink   explode   scream   yell    cry
			completely helpless			      swamp
								     pit
I whisper		take care
			laugh   listen   taste   believe   shine

			you tell me these secrets of love
I give you		share them with the bright clear moon
the stage		fly soaring about, young wing,
			alive on this fragile power.
