Nothing But You
I want to write love poems
For you...
The kind that end up
In the greatest literature books
Along side the greatest poets
Lord Byron, Robert Frost
The one's that everyone
Knows by heart
Your love would make me famous
It would be the greatest thing
I have ever written
I want to write love songs
For you...
Perform them from the rooftops
Of every house in a
Worldwide radius
Pull a U2 riot on top of a
Convenient store
It would be the most
Meaningful Mishap
Of my entire life
I want to reenact every
Love scene on TV with you
And win an award for best kiss
But I'm happy with
Poems in my journal
Songs never leaving the paper
And
Our love scenes at the beach
I'll take them over the anything
For, they are my greatest achievement
