Too Long Now
That feeling has been missing for too long now
The one where you are completely content
comfortable in every move you make.
perfect temperature
between you and him;
Him and I.
My hand rests on his chest and I can feel his heart beat
in sync with mine.
I feel so comfortable I could sleep,
but I can't because i don't want
to miss
a thing,
a moment where I could be kissing him.
So my eyes stay open
and I watch him close his,
so content
you know he's happy
lying there with you.
You never want to move from that position
that spot in the couch, the bed
where it sinks in.
It leaves the memory that you were there,
and he was there with you
In love.
That feeling has been missing for too long now.
