Lonely Rainbow
Warm sun,
rainbow in the distance,
boats travel lazily
along a slow moving river.
Live music from the band and
topless women on a european beach,
third, no fourth beer down
as i sit and begin to write.
how perfect a day it must seem
but the obvious, one missing thing
that makes this sort of day worthwhile
is you.
Such a lonely rainbow
with which noone to share.
