What do you see?

Who is it you see
When you look at me?

The once little girl innocent and sweet
Or the Adult I have become – not so complete?

The story is the same
Only the faces have changed
Hate the player not the game

A story of abuse, sex and pregnancy………
Alcohol, drugs and codependency….
I have  tried it all in hope of a recovery…..
Soul searching and self discovery….

I tell you no, I don’t want a life of sin
You don’t care you know the kind of girl I am…
Keep it up, and I’m sure to give in….

You see the party girl under my disguise
The years of whoring show in my eyes…..
My actions override the lips that are telling lies

Maybe you are right
Guess I should give up the fight
Bring on the abuse, sex and drugs…..
But first turn off the light…..
