When we first met
I knew I wanted to be with you
After awhile things go shaky
I had to work to prove myself to you
That I wouldn't be another girl
That would just crush your heart to pieces
When we officially got together
It was like a sigh of relief
I didn't have to work anymore
For the only one I wanted to be with
Since we've been together
You've done so much
You've brought joy into my life,
And happiness to my heart
When you're not with me
I miss you more than anything
Thoughts of you,
Of us,
Wander through my lonely mind
Just to hear your voice
Or read a letter sent by you
Would have such a calming effect
But nothing can replace how safe and loved I feel
When you wrap me up in your arms
And squeeze me so tightly
Since you left just a week ago
I've realized that you're the one for me
I feel like I belong with you
We've helped each otehr through good and bad
