River Talk
The River talks to us
tumbling tales in foam and mist
along the wisdom of the rocks.
What does it say to us?
It says we are beautiful.
It says there is a paradise.
It says our hearts
are two flashing trout
hugging the mouth
of a clear, fine stream.
