Silver River

Another desolate eve bears the shining memories of a relinquished love
My mind; barren except for a pictureque view of exuberance vanished
Bline am I now to all the esthetic wonders of the world
Reaching- sensing with hands; numbed from gelid hearts
Desregarding the razorblades of heartbreakes, though my hands caress them
Aimlessly strolling by a river of silver tears
Forgetting that their source was my own not so long ago
On lonely nights cloyed with a taunting aftertaste of what we once possesed
Knowing I can never acquire that pleasure again
Salt on my wounded heart ensues with distant echos
Repercussions ricochet off these now deafened ears
Only a recollection of hazy words befalls them
An insatiable desire for the same sugar-coated love overwhelms my being
And my desire smothers me as I drown in an inudating silver river
