So Much Life

She smiles, the sweetest smile, I've seen.
Charming, disarming yet, I can see behind it,
Cannot tell
the things that she's seen
or what she's thinking.
Memories, are not what they
should be.

She is barbed wire and lace
And I don't know my place,
I'm tangled up
and I couldn't care.

She's lived so much life
in so, little time.
She's lived so much life
in so, little time.

I wish, I knew what you, had seen.
So that I could share your pain
and know what you're facing.
And hold you up,
when you feel like falling.
Its hard when
you take it on, yourself.

I know what bad memories are,
the past becomes right now.
You can't escape
what you don't want to see.

You just wanna scream!!!
but smile,
So
that
no one'll know
just what you're feeling.

But when you withdraw
I will hold your hand.
She's lived too much life,
this way..........

She's lived so much life
in so little time.
She's lived so much life
in so little time.
