A Much Sweeter Wet

the rain is falling
          down
             down
                down
and not softly
and all I need is for you
     to hold me
cover me in
your umbrella embrace
that is the place
where I feel
      warm & safe
nothing can touch me
when I'm in your arms
together we can create
   a magic circle
and the world falls
       away
and the truth is in
    our eyes
and in
    our kiss
[a much sweeter wet]
(than the falling rain)
