Butterfly Kaleidoscope

i feel it all for you
    and then
      some
even when it's harder than
   I ever thought
     it would be
and we're both tired
   and scared
and not sure that all the words
      of love
will ever be sufficient

my games are all about being changeable
     and thrilling
so that you will never get bored
        with me
i think,"if i'm always changing he can't capture me...
and if he can't capture me, he can't let me go!"

for you i will make the necessary sacrifices
i will give things up
give things away
and give everything to you
and we can have that bonfire
on the beach
and dance the dance
that ends
all speech
