I DREAM

I lay each night and wonder just how it would feel
To take each dream, each thought of you
And make the moment real.
I dream of the touch of your hand in mine,
I dream of the scent of your perfume so fine,
I dream of your long soft silken hair
As you lay your head on my shoulder,
I dream of you as you hold my hand
And we walk on the beach, kicking up sand,
I dream of your laughter, dream of your smile,
I dream of your embrace as we hug for awhile.
I dream of your eyes, sparkling and bright
As they gaze into mine in the soft moonlight.
I dream of the warmth you bring my heart,
Whether were together or whether were apart.
I dream of your lips, so warm and soft,
Your sweet kiss carries my heart aloft.
I dream that your love was mine to keep,
And now, it's time for me to sleep
And start a new dream of loving you.
But only you can make my dream come true.
