Forgotten
Smiling I see how much I mean
looking into your eyes I see my reflection
the world belongs to you, to me
we float, the clouds our vessel
The constellations gave way to morning rays...
why oh why
Understanding that a moment was all
the fire could burn. understanding reason, but not.
This path, new to you, new to me. Living for a moment
in a world of your gaze, realizing I dream
Days pass, feelings drift, dust collects on the confusion
looking for your eyes, the fire burned out
maybe embers remain to be stoked again?
cold. what once was red, now nothing - the answer
Frost fills the air, breathing fog
the gravestones visited only by ghosts of young memories
one warmth alone, alone
shivering, holding epitaphs and tears as friends
again, I'm forgotten
Awake in a sea of stars, my hopeless desire
to remain in a dream
