When I Look At You

When I look at you...
I see a women who is giving of herself
without ever wanting in return
a proud, strong women...
a women who only lets a few people know
what she is really like on the inside.

When I look at you...
There are those times when
I look into those beautiful brown eyes
and see how much you are hurting inside
wishing that I could take that hurt away
replace it with love and happiness and make it stay

When I look at you...
I see someone who has stolen my heart
knowing that when we are apart
that some of me is always with you
loving you wanting you, thinking of you

When I look at you...
I remember all the love that we have shared
all the good things and knowing how much you care
wishing that we had the freedom
for us to be together and become one

When I look at you...
There is so much I see
but there is something
that I have always wondered about
what do you see when you look at me?
