moments when i cried for you
and when i didn't know
what had happened to you
and then you appeared again

please let me fall asleep
without this pain i can't help
but feel when i think of you
and my face can't contain its
muscles when the tears
come up again
tonight please just let it be
because it took me so long
to forget your touch
to forget your words
and how magnetic looking at you
across a room can be
when i wanted to reach out and touch
your nose and brow
where the two met
i cried for you too often
and then i cried for me
