crouton's dilema

the best heart to heart discussion i've had in a long time
was with an artichoke
it doesn't bother me though (much)
just gets me thinking about all kinds of things (probably best left unthought)
i told her that if i was a vegetable, i'd try to jump on a salad...
before she got dressed
that's when the discussion ended
ever had a potato roll it's eyes at you?
i thought not
the peanut gallery chimed in too
i turned to my good friend...the sweet corn
asked her opinion on the salad thing
she just blushed and said "oh shucks"
not much help
i was angry, so i punched the black-eyed peas
i figured they were used to it
and i stomped out of the kitchen
feeling unappreciated
