Lessons Definatly Learned
As I look upon your face
I start to tremble, knowing my tears
will soon be streaming
down my cheeks.
It hurts so much to know
that someone you love
so much,
cares so little for you.
All the dreams that I had,
were simply
wishes that never came true.
Every star I wished upon
never helped.
Our relationship was sunk from the start.
You were my sunshine,
the light I looked upon,
but I am allergic to the sun.
And I learned that the hard way.
They say it is better
to have loved and lost;
than to have never loved at all.
Mabey.
But I learned,
that you just can't win
every game you play.
