The other night

My world came crashing down yesterday
A little message was all that it took
And even though i know it's what he wanted
I couldn't help but cry.

He said I don't deserve you
That I don't deserve anyone
And that I would end up
Spending forever in loneliness.

So I called you up
And before I knew it
(Although you should have been studying)
You were knocking at my door.

So I cried my tears
And told you all about it
Let you hold me
And kiss the sadness away.

When the tears had gone
And my eyes were dry
I looked up at you
Into your wonderful eyes

I could see there
You care so much
And that's when I realized
Just how lucky I am to have you
