Blue Light
when I take myself off
kick off the shoes
shed the clothes
and crawl into bed
I try to sleep
with the blue light burning
it keeps the ghosts away
and makes me feel like I'm underwater
or in a space ship
and I'm liquid
and yummy
a sleepy naked girl
and
you
are
the
one
I wish I could share
the blue glow
with
and you are the reason
I toss and turn
smiling
clutching
my pillow
in glee
will you ever
see me
like this
my hair wild
and my face
beaming in a moony way
my arms pulling
you
under
have you
heard
my song?
