oh, yes! i do believe all the bread i have cast
upon the glittering water has at last
come home buttery on every wave
never did think i would crave
soggy slices of bread
but I am well-read
and instead of hunger pangs I am feeling
a confused kind of joy stealing
up from behind
and feeding my mind
succulent black seedy grapes
and cream filled crepes
it's more than I ever thought it would be
so much coming home on the foam of the delirious sea
and so let us walk hand in hand
across the infinite sand
and memorize the stars and get our feet wet
and always remember to never apologize to the sunrise for preferring the sunset
