Insatiable Hunger
Like an insatiable hunger
I get those hunger pangs
the ones I have no control of
when I hear your name
That affair that we had, love
was all that kept me alive
but more than anything else, love
I hated living the lie
You don't know what you did to me
You can't I never told you, but I'd love to show you
You don't know what it meant to me
There's no way to explain, but I'll never be the same
We had our moment
for one short span of time
and that insatiable hunger
briefly was satisfied
Now I carry the hunger
and stolen time deep inside
and relive precious moments
vividly in my mind
