Sleep, without screams.
Then in a day of icey stares,
from a cold heart that blocks the sun.
She will look at me if only for a moment,
In that moment she smiles.
She laughs, and warms me up.
I want to run away and hold her at the same time.
As a coward I run, Run so as not to offend.
I wonder why it's like this.
Is there hope, should I be afraid that this was pity.
No, not tonight,
Because now I might sleep tonight, I might rest my eyes and pretend
That it did not end.
